Tallit: Psalm 150

Regular price $350.00

This tallit, like my Psalm 150 print, imagines the poet's words as a tree, each instrument adding to and growing the melody until it finally sprouts into praises.Often during Shabbat morning services we sing Psalm 148, all about nature, and then move immediately to Psalm 150. I love this transition because it suggests that praising God with music is also a part of nature, and that music can grow and change like any other living thing.

Each tallit comes with a matching zippered tallit bag (see last photo), printed on both sides and machine-washable.

Material: Two layers sewn together of a light-weight scarf-like material, and satin trim. Size: 72" long x 40" wide. This tallit is larger than most of my other designs, and meant to be warn flipped over the shoulders and/or draped down the back. Please see the F.A.Q. page for more information about how Goren Judaica tallitot are made, and options for customization with up to six words of Hebrew or English.
