This tallit design features organ pipes decorated in the Moorish style from the sanctuary of B’nai Jeshurun on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Along the sides is the text of Psalm 150, reminding us that music is one of the all-time best ways to express joy and gratitude:
Hallelujah. Praise the Eternal in His holy place, praise Him in the vault of His power.
Praise Him for his mighty acts, praise Him as befits his abounding greatness.
Praise Him with the ram’s-horn blast, praise Him with the lute and the lyre.
Praise Him with timbrel and dance, praise Him with strings and flute.
Praise Him with sounding cymbals, praise Him with crashing cymbals.
Let all that has breath praise Yah. Hallelujah!
Each tallit comes with a matching zippered tallit bag (see last photo), printed on both sides and machine-washable. (Please note that this bag is not hand-sewn, but rather manufactured from my design by a production partner.)
Material: Medium-weight cotton and satin trim. Size: 72" long x 24" wide, designed to be warn shawl-style. They're a comfortable size for men and women alike. Please see the F.A.Q. page for more information about how Goren Judaica tallitot are made, and options for customization.
