Psalm 150 tallit
Psalm 150 tallit
Share
This tallit, like my Psalm 150 print, imagines the poet's words as a tree, each instrument adding to and growing the melody until it finally sprouts into praises.Often during Shabbat morning services we sing Psalm 148, all about nature, and then move immediately to Psalm 150. I love this transition because it suggests that praising God with music is also a part of nature, and that music can grow and change like any other living thing.
Each tallit comes with a matching zippered tallit bag (see last photo), printed on both sides and machine-washable. (Please note that this bag is not hand-sewn, but rather manufactured from my design by a production partner.)
Material: This tallit is larger than most of my other designs, and is meant to be warn flipped over your shoulders and/or draped down your back. It's cotton on the inside, so the tallit will sit more securely on your shoulders, and crepe de chine, a scarf-like fabric, on the outside so it will drape elegantly. The atarah and corner are satin.
Size: 72" long x 40" wide. Please see the F.A.Q. page for more information about how Goren Judaica tallitot are made, and options for customization.
